THE STUDENTS’ COUNCIL

We the Student community of VMASCW having solemnly resolved to constitute ourselves as a collective body in the form of a student’s council and to function under the rules and regulations of VMASCW, for the common welfare of all the students of VMASCW and also for the welfare of our alma mater. It shall be the primary duty of every member of this council to secure a united fraternity of peaceful co-existence and cooperation amongst ourselves and also with the management, administration, faculties and staff of VMASCW. The council shall also endeavor to foster cordial relations with the neighboring communities in and around the college campus. The Student Council shall compose of all enrolled students from the Under-Graduate programmes. The Council aims to:

• Safeguard and promote the common welfare and integrity of the student community of VMASCW.
• Promote and encourage academic excellence by the students of VMASCW.
• Empower every student to extend to the society assistance on issues of social concern
• To assist and cooperate with the VMASCW authority to achieve the common goal of the institution.
• Further, the Student Council shall reflect the interests of the student body consistent with Rules & Regulations of VMASCW.

The council consists of the President, Vice president, Secretary, Sports Secretary, Cultural Secretary and Executive members. They are the torch bearers of the college. The spirit of the students depends on their leadership, devotion, dedication, co-operation proving to be true phoenixes.
