“VETRE”-VeluManonian’s Empowerment Training and Reachout programme for Education an Extension Service branch of the college with a vision to build a society with self-sufficiency, dignity, harmony and happiness and the objectives as follows:

• To instill Social awareness and environmentally responsible behaviour amongst students
• To develop students as citizens with moral, ethical and social values so as to provide service to the society through activities and discharge their responsibilities towards the society
• To encourage and promote various social welfare activities by serving the society and to work for the poor and underprivileged people

• To conduct awareness promotion rallies, campaigns and activities on Evils of Drunken Driving, AIDS, Anti-Sexual Abuse, Non-Compliance with traffic rules on national importance days.
