The VMASCW is located on the Devippattinam, Ramanathapuram Highway on a quiet serene area away from Ramanathapuram by only 4 kms well connected by the roads on all sides easily accessible to Paramakudi, Thiruvadanai, Rameswaram and Kamuthi. The campus has been designed to complement our curriculum and as the optimum environment for 21st Century Higher education, where every aspect of teaching and learning is supported by modern and relevant technology. The Silence and peace, tranquility and a reason to excel is what the environ gifts each & every soul at the VeluManoharan campus will fall in love with Mother Nature which will provide the much needed effort to excel... Be it in education or in life.

The serene campus is spread over 3 acres of land, with state of art of laboratories, spacious and well-ventilated class rooms and staff rooms. A large auditorium, modern conference hall, language lab, playground and canteen are the additional facilities. The College is offering 5graduate coursesand in Five years it is envisaged to have at least 12 undergraduate programs and five post graduate programs in relevant women specific job oriented areas of higher education and research. The College takes pride in possessing a team of committed, dynamic, efficient and highly qualified teaching staff. They have specialized subject knowledge and resourceful skills.

THE COAT OF ARMS-OUR LOGO

The coat arms were designed to reflect the women endeavor to change the world by empowering it, so as to make a better place to live in. Further, it will foster an atmosphere at transforming young women as academically intelligent, socially responsible and moral rectitude in which they may find their fulfillment to achieve greatness to serve the nation. “The coat of Arms” of our college is with two ladies of purple and pink color holding a torch flanked by an open book and an icon of graduation cap. The open book denotes to seek the divine knowledge and wisdom which enables an individual to determine or judge what is correct and accurate. The graduation cap implies superiority and intelligence.

The lady in purple color is a distinctive mark of justice and dignity and one with pink colour signifies to inspire and exude confidence and the upward movement of the flame they hold specifies searching for enlightment of the young women of quality to be leaders in all walks of life and face the challenges put forth by the globalized world. Bearing the Motto “Empowering women for change” that contributes womento meet the challenges of the existing educational system into reorienting itself in order to respond to crying needs of today’s society.
