The Department of Chemistry was incepted in 2019 with the student strength of 42.The Department is offering Chemistry as an undergraduate programme and it has optimized all the resources to enhance the quality of education.
The main objective of the Department is to prepare students to outclass in Chemical education and to equip them to face the challenging world with courage and credence.
The Department has spacious and well equipped Laboratory for the smooth conduct of qualitative and quantitative experiments.
Besides class room teaching, the students are exposed to various opportunities like Industrial Visit, Participation in Seminars and paper presentations etc.
The Department has also been conducting intra-departmental collegiate activities through the Chemistry Association GeNiUS.
In order to instill the entrepreneurial spirit among the students, the Department is offering ENTREPRENEURIAL SKILL DEVELOPMENT as a value added course.
The Department has also been involved in outreach programmes like VETRE for the upliftment of Society.
