  • Late Arrival: Students arriving after the assembly will be marked absent for one hour, emphasizing the importance of punctuality.
  • Continuous Absence: Students who are absent for 15 consecutive days without proper notice or intimation will be removed from the nominal roll.
  • Leave Applications: All leave requests must be countersigned by a parent or guardian and recommended by the Head of the Department. It is essential to follow this procedure for leaves to be considered valid.
  • Medical Leave: Students who are sick for more than five consecutive working days must submit a valid medical certificate upon their return to college.
  • Notification to Parents: The parents or guardians of students who are irregular or frequently absent without proper notice will be informed via post.
  • Representing the College: Students intending to represent the college at intercollegiate events must obtain prior permission from the Head of the Department and their parent. On-duty (OD) leave will be granted upon submission of official call letters.

This attendance policy is in place to ensure students remain disciplined and committed to their academic responsibilities, promoting an environment conducive to learning and growth.
